Employees at the Moline (IL) Goodwill of the Heartland donation facility achieved success after a 5S event. The goal was to improve the layout of the backroom, streamline the hard and soft goods production, and make a dramatic improvement to the clutter and mess of the area.

• Hard goods material movement reduced by 70% with the new layout
• Soft goods material movement was reduced by 41% with the new layout
