She enjoyed visualizing the process maps to expose the waste, and how the event increased employee engagement for the social workers. She also saw commonality with Lean and how they perform social work. As a result of the event, they identified gaps in resources and data as part of their improvement.
She also shares details of an active lean event going on that week to tackle another process in the Department of Social Services (DSS).
